  • Re: Activity Requirements

Hi Lauren, Your observation about Activity Requirements being associated at the Activity level (not Activity Schedule level) is correct.  The good news is that individuals participating in the same activity at a new activity schedule will show the past activity requirements that they have already fulfilled.  A good example is ...

  • Activity Requirements

I just began setting up a new year of missions trips for our church. In the past I have followed the F1 best practice guides for setting up these trips. The problem I am running into is with the requirements.   If we sent a team to Costa Rica last year, then the requirements section will have the application, payment, and other paperwork ...

  • Multiple Hour Church

Hi, We've been on F1 for 4-5 yrs now and I have set up our preschool class heirarchy different every year - based on issues that come up that make it difficult to use (reporting, ease of use at checkin, quering, etc).  Our children can stay both hours of our church services.  So we end up with two RLCs at first service RLC - ...

  • Maximum Room Capacity for RLCs

OK-have I been completely out of it or has the ability to put maximum room capacities gone away from RLC set-up?  I'm needing to put a maximum capacity in a room and have it cut off assignments to the room once the maximum capacity has been reached. Any thoughts?

  • VERY confused about activity schedules

I was reviewing participant assignments in Children's Ministry, preparing to promote everybody, when I noticed that some assignments had activity schedules and some did not. I reviewed the printed material from Fellowship Technologies and it states ''Every activity must have a schedule. Schedules are used for the Check-in system and to track ...

  • Weekly Ministry Report Comparison

I am wondering if anyone uses a report that compares attendance for all the activities of each ministry that took place within a particular time period for the current year and compares it to the same information from another year? We are looking for a report that that provides the overall breakdown by Activity, then breakdown by RLC and ...

  • Golf Tournament Registration?

We have an annual golf tournament to raise money for our youth missions department. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. We usually have about 120 players. This will be our first year with F1 and I am excited to be able to do all of the registration online. The tournament isn't until May, but I want to get a head start on setting this up. ...

  • Easiest way to do assignments

We're new to F1 and I thought I heard someone say that an easy way to do assignments to an activity is just post attendance for a given activity and there is a database operation that occurs nightly that will assign anyone who attended an activity to that activity.  Is this true?  If so that would be the easiest way for us to do activity ...

  • Single Activity versus Multiple Activities

We are about 9 months into F1, and we struggle with the issue of when to create one or multiple activities. We use Weblink and Check-in, so we are trying to settle on a procedure that makes sense for reporting, Weblink, and Check-in. Here is an example. We have discipleship classes in the fall and spring of each year, and the classes change from ...

  • Activities vs Multiple Activity Schedules

I had a quick question to see how others handled this situation. My church currently has 3 services for kids. Rather than have ''kids worship'' as an activity and a 9:30, 11:00 and 12:30 schedule, we actually have three separate activities, each with one schedule. I assume that this was set up this way (I just got here) was because our third ...

  • Re: Participant Assignments and Closed Rooms

Greg,    You can handle this using two different methods as outlined below: You can create a different Activity specifically for Saturday night's room structures and age groups. You can keep the Activity as is and have all of the rooms open on Saturday night.  When children are checked into a room that is combined into ...

  • When do you create an activity?

I'm curious what criteria people use when determining if they need to create an activity in F1.  Do you create an acitivity when it is for a one time meeting? Two times or more? I can see how F1 could get very cluttered with numerous activities if I let it.   Thanks for your input.   Mark
