  • Multiple looks for super check-in theme?

Like most churches, we have separate identities for our children ages k-5th grade and infant-preschool.  We'd still like for everyone to be able to check-in to everything at once, though, so we're having to make use of the super check-in.  Is there any way possible to run super check-in that is branded with our k-5th identity on some ...

  • Lost Claim Tags

Each weekend we encounter parents who have lost thier claim tags. Just wondering what other churches do to verify kids and parents belong together without the benefit of a matching tag?

  • Maximum Capacity Limit for Classroom

I'm still finding my way around the Check-In system. I was told that there's a way to put a limit on the number of kids that can check-in into a classroom. Is that possible? If so, how do I go about doing that?

  • Multiple Hour Church

Hi, We've been on F1 for 4-5 yrs now and I have set up our preschool class heirarchy different every year - based on issues that come up that make it difficult to use (reporting, ease of use at checkin, quering, etc).  Our children can stay both hours of our church services.  So we end up with two RLCs at first service RLC - ...

  • Hard Copy Listing in Children's Ministry in case of Evacuation

We have implemented live check-in in our student ministries and are looking to do likewise in the Children's Ministry. In talking with one of the staff there, they insist they absolutely have to have a hard copy of the checked-in children (by group) in case of an evacuation. Although this could be produced from within Fellowship, this would ...

  • Check-in kiosks locking up requiring reboot every Sunday at busiest time

At our peak time, our kiosks are freezing up one by one and requiring a re-boot.  We have had our (excellent) IT person run load tests, connectivity tests and all other tests suggested by F1 but we are still having this problem.  I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else or is if it is unique to our church.  We have 2 ...

  • Is anyone having a problem with F1 check-in freezing up requiring a reboot?

For the last few months, we have been having problems with our Sunday School & nursery check-in freezing up (''clocking''), requiring us to reboot the application and/or the machines.  It always happens around the same time --- between 9 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. on Sunday mornings --- our busiest time of the morning.  Are we alone in ...

  • Families who bring visitors

Can I get an idea of what anyone else is doing with visitors as far as from an administrative end?  Do you keep the children in the host household or do you get an address and split them into their own household?  We try to get an address for the child by having the host family fill out a ''I brought a visitor'' card.  This way we ...

  • Check-in Report

I would like to be able to run a report of active check-in's. Is this something I can do. I know I can login into the FO website and see them under ministry and then active check-in's but I want to run a report for each class so they know who is checked in and who is not, this will also help with check out. any suggestions on what report I should ...

  • Test environment for Check In

We are the VERY green church and about to embark on check in. I am curious to find out how other users who have done this implemented a good test base. In the manual, it suggests setting up activity schedules with recurrences. From what I can see this would not be an ideal appraoch but maybe I am not understanding this. Thanks allRose ...

  • Self Check In for Students

We recently started using Self Check In. We have a separate student building so kids are coming over w/out their parent (and the parent has the key tag.) Our student ministry has exploded almost overnight so we are experiencing looongg lines for assisted check in. We want to get the students using self check in. However, it doesn't seem to be ...

  • Which Assignment supercedes the other?

I should know this by now, but I'm wondering if it's changed since I first came on board with Fellowship.  Does a participant assignment still override a volunteer assignment?

  • Securing check-in computers

In the massive amount of reading I did early on I recall seeing a paper on securing a check-in station.  Does anyone have a pointer to a paper like that?  How are you securing your check-in stations?  How would you do it if you did not have reliable access to a domain? Thanks, Dan

  • Re: Status and Youth Ministry

Thank you! Both you and Jeff have been a BIG help! We have decided to go with attributes for tracking our youth ministry. I like your suggestion of tracking attendance with just a laptop. We are averaging about 115 youth a week, so having a couple of volunteers logging attendance may be doable. I do use ''post attendance'' for all of our ...
