  • Activity Requirements

I just began setting up a new year of missions trips for our church. In the past I have followed the F1 best practice guides for setting up these trips. The problem I am running into is with the requirements.   If we sent a team to Costa Rica last year, then the requirements section will have the application, payment, and other paperwork ...

  • Event Managment

We recently offered Women of Faith Tickets on our website.  With WOF there are many purchase options (i.e., pkg a, b, c ,d, pre-conference, premium seat, standard seat, boxed lunch).  I have yet to find a report to help me truly analyze the data.  I would like to be able to run a report to find out how many of each option have been ...

  • Re: Event Regs adds peeps to Group

Yes, you can add them to a group - but it's not automatic. I still encourage Activity Association - particularly if you want to run rosters or use Check-in or Post Attendance. This makes the activity run much smoother. If you're not taking attendance, you can skip the association. Run one of the registration reports (most of them are in the M6000 ...

  • Down Payments/No Payment Option for Weblink Forms

The recent update that removed the $0 down payment option has really hurt us in using Weblink Forms for a couple of our ministries.  We run all of our registrations through Weblink, including those that are submitted in paper form and those submitted over the phone.  For the ones submitted over the phone, the parent will be sending in a ...

  • Golf Tournament Registration?

We have an annual golf tournament to raise money for our youth missions department. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. We usually have about 120 players. This will be our first year with F1 and I am excited to be able to do all of the registration online. The tournament isn't until May, but I want to get a head start on setting this up. ...

  • Re: Event Registration

Hi Charlie, I'm excited for your church! I think you will love working with WebLink's Form Builder tool. This will definitely help you get people registered and then run reports on who is coming.  The documentation referred to in the other post is the Form Builder user's guide. You can find it by clicking the ''Support'' link in Fellowship ...

  • Providing Kiosk Coverage

I would like to hear from other sites how you handle staffing your kiosks for weekday and weeknight events.  Is the ministry hosting the event responsible for checking in their participants?  Who handles caregiving?  What if you have multiple events checking in at the same time?

  • event registration discount per number of sign up

Hello all, I searched the forums and did not find any ideas on how to discount the number of signup per family with a particular event. i.e.  -- A family with 4 kids wants to sign up for an event and we would like to give them a discount for the 2nd or more kids.  The only way I can see to discount is by percent or dollar discount ...

  • Re: What are you using to manage events?

Hi Wtrmrk, We use Basecamp to track projects here. I'm curious how you use it to track events? Are you tracking the preparation for the event or the event itself? Tara CoulsonFT Education Services

  • Volunteers who need to pay...

We have some events where our volunteers have to pay a fee (i.e. kids camp).  With or without using weblink what's a good way to verify that the volunteer is registered and payed and can check in.  It seems as though if we let them register through weblink they will then be participants (and won't qualify for the event based on age) but ...

  • Re: Scholarships and Fundraisers

We use the promotion code for both the scholarship and fundraiser purpose. Here is our process Scholarships: Our students fill out a sholarship application; once we have approved their application, I create a promotional code for that person and they enter this code when completing their registration. (I usually use their last name as their ...

  • friends signing up friends in weblink

Is anyone else having this problem?  I've had it happen for two different events now.  I'm having one person create a weblink account and then they add their frinds to their account as part of their family. I'm guessing that they are doing this for one of two reasons.  1) If the event is free, then they are doing it ...

  • Weblink for event tickets

Does anyone use a weblink registration for to sell tickets to concerts or similar events?  I would like to ditch OSCommerce php store software and use Weblink exclusively for all web transactions. I'm sure I can, but just wanted to get a feel for what everyone else is doing.   Thanks Mark
